With the 1st photoshoot of my products, I had company…
Skye…our Labradoodle…what a wonderful creature!!!! He never leaves me to wander into the Eucalyptus forest alone. He is my “shadow/bodyguard”.
As you can see he has a lot of hair and as a felter I see endless possibilities when I look at him.
So I have decided to try it out… Do you see the resemblance to him and the fleece behind him on the tree stump?
I might just have a walking (almost talking) never ending supply of fleece in my own back yard.
Here is a bit of background on the Labradoodle:
It’s not surprising that the Labradoodle has gained such popularity so quickly. Originally developed to be hypoallergenic guide dogs, the first planned crosses of Poodles and Labrador Retrievers were arranged by the Royal Guide Dogs Association of Australia. The result was a smart and sociable dog who not only possessed a nature appropriate for guide dogs but also had a low-shedding coat. While the hybrid is not yet achieving consistent results in coat or temperament, the Labradoodle is a wildly popular and affectionate dog.
